COLLABORATIONS WITH BCIDS & ITIN UNIVERSITY, FRANCE
As a step to provide BCIDS global recognition, we had taken an initiative to tie-up with the ITIN University, France. Through this union we aspired to promote vocational learning along with degree.
About ITIN
ITIN is a school of higher education specialized in IT, networks and information systems. It is located in the pleasant environment of the Saint-Christophe business park, France. ITIN trains project managers, executives and IT, networks and telecom experts, in different degree programs, ranging from 2 to 5 years in length.
Created in 1988, ITIN provides companies with highly specialized people and gives its students, who will soon become managers and technical experts, the fundamental knowledge and the technical and methodological know-how which will be the key to their success in a complex and evolving professional environment.
With the 13 apprentices
13 students of ITIN visited Mumbai for 2 weeks from 16 to 27th of June 2008. The activities consisted on the following:
- Global activities: visit of Indian companies, participation in conferences at the university, cultural visits
- Field projects : groups of French and Indian students worked on a chosen subject for which they wrote intermediate and final reports and made an oral presentation at the end of the travel
INDIA exchange program 2008/2009 – French students to BCIDS for training
2 students-David MORENO and Christophe SANCHEZ came to BCIDS under the exchange program from Nov 2008 till Feb 2009. The following modules under the Post Graduate Program in Retail Management were attended by them:

ENGLISH FOUNDATION CERTIFICATE COURSE (EFCC) PROGRAM FOR CHINESE PARTICIPANTS
The EFCC program in collaboration with SPIT has been designed to train Chinese students in spoken and written English language and communication skills. Thirty four Chinese students have enrolled for the seven month course which was launched in September. At the conclusion of the program the students will seek admission to other undergraduate courses like BMS, B.Com, B.Sc(IT) etc
Objective
- To enable students to read, speak and write grammatically correct English
- To assist students in communicating in English
Pedagogy

- Audio- video presentations and short clips to facilitate understanding and learning
